Born in 1965, the new executive vice president Kim graduated from the Department of Business Administration at Yonsei University and the Graduate School of Business Administration at Seoul National University. He passed the certified public accountant exam in 1990 and worked at Saedong and later served as the head of the tax department and a service partner for domestic conglomerates at EY Hanyoung. The new executive vice president Kim has held various positions, including director at The Korean Institute of Certified Public Accountants in 2018, and served as a financial director and taxes vice president.
Born in 1968, the new research vice president Jo holds a bachelor's and master's degree in business administration from Seoul National University, as well as a doctoral degree in business administration from Soongsil University. After passing the certified public accountant exam in 1991, she worked at Samil and Dasan and has served in various roles at The Korean Institute of Certified Public Accountants since 2005, including head of the research department and executive director.
Born in 1964, the new accounting audit vice president Oh graduated from the Department of Business Administration at Seoul National University and also obtained a master's degree in business administration from the same university. He passed the certified public accountant exam in 1988 and worked at Samil as the head of the quality control department and as a representative in the audit sector. He has been appointed as a non-executive vice president at The Korean Institute of Certified Public Accountants starting in 2024.
The Korean Institute of Certified Public Accountants noted, "We have appointed three individuals with high expertise and practical capabilities as new vice presidents," and stated, "We plan to actively promote projects aimed at achieving the completion of accounting reform and enhancing national competitiveness through the enactment of the Accounting Basic Act, among other initiatives."
