'Overseas mode' is an overseas-only service that allows members to use customized features in 206 countries worldwide based on the time zone information of the mobile phone they hold.
When a Hyundai Card member logs into the Hyundai Card app in the country they are visiting and clicks on 'Overseas mode,' the name of the country and an image symbolizing that country are displayed as a background, and 'Overseas mode' begins. The home screen of 'Overseas mode' provides immediate access to useful information for travelers, such as weather, exchange rates, and an exchange rate calculator.
A variety of partnership services available in each country can also be viewed at a glance. In the United States, free admission to the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York and discounts at the Olomana Golf Course in Hawaii are offered. In Japan, 'Japanese partnership services' can be accessed at Tsutaya bookstore and Don Quijote, while in Taiwan, payments can be made with Line Pay, and in France, discounts at Monge pharmacy are displayed, enabling users to find available services locally without searching.
'Overseas use checklist' has been prepared to inform members of the global benefits of the cards they hold. Members can easily check various overseas benefits provided by not only Hyundai Card but also international brands such as Visa and American Express.
Essential functions for overseas travel can be accessed directly through 'Overseas mode'. Features such as 'block overseas won payments' and 'report card theft or loss' are collected together to allow for swift action in emergencies. A concierge service called 'Travel Desk,' where assistance is available via KakaoTalk or phone when help is needed locally, is also prominently displayed.
