On the 2nd, Toss announced the launch of a webpage called 'Toss Card Lounge (hereafter referred to as Card Lounge)' that allows users to compare credit cards at a glance on a PC screen.
Since 2018, Toss has been operating 'Card Home' in its app, where users can compare, recommend, and issue cards. The Card Lounge is an extension of this service, allowing for easier comparison and recommendations of complicated card benefits and terms on a larger screen.
In the Card Lounge, users can check the information of 250 credit cards from 10 major card companies, including Hyundai Card, Samsung Card, and Lotte Card, with plans to continuously expand card products in the future.
The most noticeable change in the PC version is the 'Comparison' feature. Users can add up to three cards to a basket and easily compare main benefits on one screen. The core information such as representative benefits per card, annual fees, and accumulation rates is consolidated to enhance convenience, eliminating the need to switch between multiple card tabs.
In the Card Lounge, users can gather cards tailored to their consumption areas such as 'Food expenses', 'Cafes', and 'Living expenses' for comparison. There is also a feature that highlights categories with high real-time click rates. Some cards can be directly issued through the Toss app via QR codes.
At the bottom of the webpage, a section titled 'Card Tips We Share' has been established, consolidating card-related content. This content connects to Toss's financial information page 'Toss Speed' and selectively provides articles focused on cards. Toss Speed's content is characterized by its easy and friendly explanations, making it understandable even for those unfamiliar with finance.
Users can access it by searching for 'Toss Card Lounge' in the website's search bar without the need for separate membership registration.
A Toss spokesperson said, 'About 2.6 million people visit the Toss app each month to issue cards' and noted, 'The webpage was prepared for those who want to compare card benefits more thoroughly, and we plan to continuously enhance the service in line with the PC environment going forward.'
