NongHyup Bank announced on the 1st that it has obtained final approval from the British financial authorities to establish its London branch.
The London branch is NongHyup Bank's first overseas store in Europe and will officially start operations on the 15th. This achievement comes nearly four years after the opening of the London office in 2021.
NongHyup Bank plans to expand its global investment banking (IB) business in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region through the London branch and provide various financial services targeting local corporations seeking financial consolidation with Korean corporations that have entered Europe and Asia.
NongHyup Bank President Kang Tae-young said, "The London branch will be fostered as a strategic foothold for activating global IB business and discovering synergies across NongHyup."
