Hyundai Motor Securities held a 'commitment implementation conference' where President Bae Hyung-geun and key executives gathered to reaffirm their commitment to responsibilities ahead of the implementation of the internal control responsibility structure, the company announced on the 30th.
Previously, Hyundai Motor Securities held an event to reaffirm their commitment to responsibilities on the 27th. The event was attended by President Bae and 12 executives who were granted substantial responsibilities based on the internal control responsibility structure.
They committed to ensuring that the internal control system goes beyond mere compliance, and that each organizational member clearly recognizes and practices their responsibilities.
A representative of Hyundai Motor Securities noted, "Through this conference, we formed a company-wide consensus on the importance of internal control and strengthened our commitment to implementing responsibilities."
In particular, the policy is to regularly inspect and share the process of each executive's implementation of responsibilities, thereby spreading autonomy and accountability throughout the organization.
Meanwhile, Hyundai Motor Securities is in the process of piloting a 'responsibility structure' that is set to be implemented in July. They are also separately establishing and operating a responsibility management system.
