Samjong KPMG held a management committee meeting on the 25th and announced the '2025 regular partner appointments.'
In this partner appointment, Kim Dong-hoon, Kim Hak-joo, Park Cheol-seong, Won Jeong-jun, Lee Dong-geun, Jeon Yong-ki, and Jung Yoon-ho were promoted to deputy representatives.
Kim Dong-hoon, the deputy representative, is a global tax advisory expert, recognized for possessing international sensibilities based on experience working at KPMG's New York office. He has performed advisory services for domestic corporations and multinational corporations based on a deep understanding of complex domestic and international tax issues.
Kim Hak-joo, the deputy representative, is an expert who has performed various tax advisory tasks, including tax audits and tax disputes, and possesses expertise in tax due diligence in the environment and renewable energy sectors. He has strengths in diagnosing corporations' tax risks in advance and establishing optimal response strategies.
Park Cheol-seong, the deputy representative, has built expertise in the area of financial auditing and supported financial institutions in compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) accounting audits. He has notably contributed to solving major challenges in the financial sector such as internal control systems and provisioning for project financing (PF) losses, as well as responding to amendments in corporate governance laws.
Won Jeong-jun, the deputy representative, serves as the head of the financial advisory division's 5th department and has distinguished himself in advising the sale of portfolios for individual owners and private equity funds. He has conducted major sales advisories for companies such as TmaxSoft, Jeonju Paper, JJ Tools, Skin Angel, and Yanolja, and is currently responsible for the advisory on Aekyung Industrial's sale.
Lee Dong-geun, the deputy representative, is an expert in M&A (mergers and acquisitions) and financing advisory for domestic large corporations, private equity (PE), and mid-sized corporations. He has performed portfolio acquisitions, sales, and fundraising in sectors like environmental, energy, and secondary batteries.
Jeon Yong-ki, the deputy representative, has built expertise in auditing financial institutions and providing internal control advisory in the audit sector. He has particularly demonstrated expertise in the establishment and conversion of IFRS for financial institutions, and he is also leading consultations for diagnosing and enhancing accounting systems in response to a digital auditing environment.
Jung Yoon-ho, the deputy representative, leads the MC (Management Consulting) division in the consulting department, performing process innovation (PI) and ERP establishment for public, telecommunications, and platform industries as well as for newly growing corporations preparing for IPO.
In addition, 23 individuals including Kim Se-ho, Kim Ik-chan, Kim Jong-seok, Kim Jin-hyun, Kim Hyun-il, Kim Hyung-cheon, Do Jeong-wook, Park Won-il, Baek Seung-wook, Seo Yu-jin, Seo Yoon-seok, Seo Jeong-hyuk, Seol In-soo, Song Hyung-woo, Lee Geun-woo, Lee Joo-young, Lee Chae-neung, Jang Ji-hoon, Jeon Hyun-ho, Cha Jeong-hwan, Cheon Jae-jun, Hong Min-seong, and Hwang Gu-cheol have been promoted to executive directors. This appointment will officially take effect on July 1.
