Alternative trading system (ATS) NextTrade (NXT) announced on the 25th that it has selected 791 items for trading in the third quarter of this year (July to September). This includes 380 items from KOSPI and 411 items from KOSDAQ.
The items included are 105 items such as LG C&S and SAMG Entertainment. At the same time, 112 items, including SG Global and Quint Matrix, will be excluded.
As a result, the total number of items for trading has decreased by 7, from the previous 798 items to 791 items.
NextTrade focuses on certain securities listed on the Korea Exchange (KRX) for trading and selects or changes them quarterly.
The items selected each quarter will be included in the trading items until the end of that quarter and the following quarter. The items selected this time are expected to be traded in NextTrade's regular market (pre-market, main market, after-market) from July 1 to at least the end of December.
However, if a reason for transaction restrictions arises, such as designation as a management item, those items will be excluded from the trading items.
In addition, if any items currently being traded that were selected last quarter fail to meet certain requirements, they may be excluded from the trading items during the next regular change period at the end of September.
