The Korea Exchange announced on the 24th that it will hold the "21st National College Student Securities and Derivatives Competition."
The competition is a representative thesis competition in the financial sector, and the submission period for research proposals is from the 30th of this month to August 11.
Eligibility to participate is restricted to undergraduate students at four-year universities in Korea (including those on leave of absence, excluding graduate students). Teams must consist of up to four students from the same university.
Winners will receive preferential treatment during the document screening when applying for jobs at the exchange for the next five years.
The exchange provides scholarships to winners of the excellent thesis on securities and derivatives. The grand prize will receive recognition from the Chairperson of the Financial Services Commission, while the excellent and encouragement awards will be given by the Chairperson of the exchange. Finalists will also receive additional research support funds.
