Kiwoom Securities noted on June 2 that, in line with the month of National Defense and Veterans, it will support the issuance costs of military specialty certificates for those preparing for jobs as non-commissioned officers and officers in the national public service.
The supported specialty certificates include military leadership instructor, military psychological counseling instructor, and military life respect instructor. The relevant authority is the Ministry of National Defense, and they are officially registered civilian military specialty certificates with the Korea Vocational Ability Development Institute.
The Future Development Institute, the certificate issuance organization, will provide learning expenses for educational content (500,000 won per course) free of charge, while Kiwoom Securities will match the issuance cost (90,000 won per course). They plan to support a maximum of 2,025 individuals (courses) over the next year, with a total amount of approximately 200 million won. Applications can be made through the Future Development Institute's website, with a first-come, first-served deadline.
Kiwoom Securities stated that through this support for certificate issuance expenses, it aims to help young job seekers realize their valuable dreams and contribute to enhancing military competitiveness.
