Voice artificial intelligence (AI) and generative AI specialized corporation Mediazen announced on the 2nd that stock transactions will resume in the Korea Securities Dealers Automated Quotations (KOSDAQ) market. Mediazen regards this resumption of transactions as a turning point for restoring market confidence and normalizing operations, presenting a blueprint for strengthening responsible management.
Mediazen is supplying generative AI solutions equipped with features such as search-augmented generation (RAG), conversation summarization (CallSum), and voice chatbot functionalities, based on its self-developed large language model (LLM) "MIRAGE." It is noted that business-to-business (B2B) project orders for artificial intelligence customer centers (AICC) and in-car navigation voice assistants are intensifying.
Mediazen is also conducting edutech business. Mediazen explained that AI educational solutions applying its own technologies, such as speech evaluation (SpeechPro), grammar correction (GrammarPro), and vocabulary assessment (VocaPro), are expected to contribute significantly to performance starting this year. It is also pursuing global expansion, including the domestic market, through joint ventures with global AI company iFLYTEK.
Song Min-kyu, CEO of Mediazen, said, "I sincerely apologize for causing concern during the stock transaction suspension period and will do my utmost to restore shareholder value." He noted, "I will take this resumption of transactions as a starting point to repay market confidence with a sense of responsibility, not merely as a return."
CEO Song also stated, "Based on the research capabilities and technological expertise we have accumulated, we have established verified competitiveness in the fields of generative AI and AI edutech," adding, "We will become a corporation that proves itself through results, with technology, validation, and marketability as our triangular axis."
