Korea Investment & Securities announced on the 2nd that it will launch a retirement pension robo-advisor (RA) discretionary management service using artificial intelligence (AI) technology in collaboration with Uprise Investment Advisory.
Starting from the 9th, this service will have Uprise Investment Advisory managing the robo-advisor discretionary operations, providing customers with algorithm-based products that have been verified for stability, security, and adequacy. The products have been validated through the Korea Securities & Futures Exchange (KOSCOM) testbed, and revenue information will also be disclosed. Currently, six RA algorithm products are initially offered, and the product lineup is expected to continue to expand.
It will be offered with a limit of 9 million won annually, on a one-contract basis per individual retirement pension (IRP) account, allowing customers to easily sign up non-face-to-face 24 hours a day.
Korea Investment & Securities has expanded its product lineup to reflect the diverse investment tendencies and demands of customers, following the launch of December Company's 'robo-advisor' in April.
Kim Soon-sil, head of the retirement pension division at Korea Investment & Securities, said, "We plan to introduce additional services in collaboration with Korea Investment Trust Management by the end of June," and added, "We will continue to expand differentiated pension services based on our digital capabilities to actively support the growth of customers' asset in their retirement."
