As of 9:18 a.m. on that day, it is trading at 22,150 won, up 900 won (4.42%) from the previous transaction. At one point in early trading, it traded at 24,000 won, marking the highest price in the last year (52 weeks), but the rate of increase is gradually decreasing.
According to the investment industry, The Pinkfong Company is expected to file for preliminary review for listing as early as this week. The Pinkfong Company achieved significant success domestically and internationally through the intellectual property (IP) rights to 'Baby Shark,' which was introduced in 2015. It is reported that it was recognized with a corporate value in the trillions during the Series B funding round in 2021.
The major shareholders of The Pinkfong Company, based on the quarterly report for the first quarter of this year, are CEO Kim Min-seok (18.44%), who is the son of Kim Jin-yong, CEO of Samsung Publishing, and Samsung Publishing (16.77%).
