The digital transformation corporation TechLabs reported on the 22nd that its revenue in the first quarter of this year was 24.7 billion won and its operating profit was 1.7 billion won. Compared to the same period last year, revenue increased by 20% and operating profit rose by 24%.
A TechLabs official noted, "As the economic recession and social uncertainty continue, the fortune-telling platform 'Jeomsin' has significantly grown in performance," adding, "The healthcare marketing business is also steadily expanding."
TechLabs is developing various B2C (business-to-consumer) business models centered around its market-leading platform, Jeomsin. This year, it plans to introduce a new platform for attracting overseas patients, which will support all aspects of medical tourism, including information on domestic cosmetic surgery, searching and booking medical institutions, payments, transportation, tourism, and accommodation reservations.
TechLabs CEO Yu Ji-hyun said, "TechLabs is expanding its growth engines by integrating its platform capabilities with cultural and industrial trends," and added, "We will strengthen our mid- to long-term competitiveness through the launch of new platforms and successfully push for an initial public offering (IPO)."
