Lee Jae-myung, the candidate running in the presidential primary for the Democratic Party of Korea, will visit the Korea Financial Investment Association on the 21st to discuss the Korean stock market with heads of research centers from securities firms.
According to political circles on the 17th, the candidate will visit the Korea Financial Investment Association in Yeouido, Seoul, at 10 a.m. on the 21st. The association consists of securities firms and asset management companies.
During this meeting, the candidate will meet with Seo Yoo-seok, president of the Korea Financial Investment Association, and several heads of research centers from securities firms to discuss revitalizing the Korean stock market.
The candidate's camp noted in a press release that 'the candidate plans to diagnose the causes of the domestic stock market's sluggishness during this meeting and propose solutions to revitalize the Korean stock market.' They added, 'the candidate will listen attentively to the opinions of field experts on financial investment policy and will also discuss ways to advance the stock market.'
