The National Credit Union Federation announced on the 9th that it held the '2024 Insurance Award Ceremony and 2025 Vision Declaration Ceremony' at the Daejeon National Credit Union Training Center on the 8th.
The event was organized to encourage and award the unions, individuals, and regional headquarters that recorded outstanding insurance performance throughout the year 2024, based on the results of the national credit union insurance business evaluation, and to officially declare the vision and direction of the insurance business for 2025.
This year, 41 credit unions in the institutional sector and 10 employees in the individual sector, along with 4 regional headquarters, were named in the award list. Additionally, awards of merit were given to 7 employees who contributed to the revitalization of the insurance.
At the event, the credit union proclaimed the vision, 'Credit union insurance, illuminating the light of hope!' and expressed its commitment to serve as a trustworthy financial partner for its members even in an uncertain market environment.
Kim Yoon-sik, chairman of the National Credit Union Federation, emphasized in his speech, 'Credit union insurance is a symbolic business that realizes the spirit of cooperation,' and noted, 'Strengthening marketing capabilities to proactively respond to an ultra-aging society is of utmost importance.'
Son Sung-eun, CEO of Credit and Insurance Business, also stated, 'Even in a difficult financial environment, credit union insurance has laid the foundation for leap,' and conveyed, 'We will continue to respond flexibly to change and communicate with the field to become a trusted financial cooperative.'
