
U.S. Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association (TIAA) subsidiary Nuveen Investments appointed Chad W. Phillips as the global head of Nuveen Real Estate on the 3rd.
Phillips oversees $141 billion (approximately 207 trillion won) in commercial real estate equity and loan investments operating in 22 countries worldwide. He also serves as the chair of the global management leadership team that supervises Nuveen Real Estate's strategic initiatives.
Nuveen Real Estate has over 750 real estate professionals in more than 30 cities across the U.S., Europe, and the Asia-Pacific region, based on over 90 years of real estate investment experience.
Phillips is described by Nuveen Investments as a real estate investment veteran with more than 25 years of experience in real estate investment and portfolio management.
He joined Nuveen in 2019 and led a global team specialized in sector investments such as workplace, healthcare, retail, and mixed-use, handling sector strategy development, performance management, daily investments, and financing activities.
