Global accounting and consulting firm EY Han-young noted on the 31st that it has selected 24 female entrepreneurs to participate in the 2025 'EY Entrepreneurial Winning Women™ Asia-Pacific' program. In Korea, Park Eun-kyung, the representative of optical electronic parts corporation SEKONIX, was selected.
The EY Entrepreneurial Winning Women program discovers high-potential entrepreneurs who have successfully built high-growth corporations and provides them with the necessary network and resources to fully realize their potential and sustainably expand their businesses. Since its launch in 2008, more than 1,000 female entrepreneurs have participated across over 60 markets worldwide. The program has been running in the Asia-Pacific region since 2015.
The 24 female entrepreneurs selected this year represent over 10 markets in the Asia-Pacific region and are leaders of innovative thinking who continuously challenge for long-term growth and expansion. As key decision-makers in their corporations, they actively embrace various innovations, including artificial intelligence (AI), and are shaping the future in a rapidly changing era.
They lead rapidly growing corporations across diverse industries, including technology, consumer goods, real estate and design, and media and entertainment. According to EY analysis, the corporations they operate recorded total revenues of $1.2 billion (approximately 1.75 trillion won) as of 2024, generating over 11,000 jobs.
Lee Bok-han, the head of the market division and entrepreneurship leader at EY Han-young, said, "The EY Entrepreneurial Winning Women program serves as a platform for female entrepreneurs from various industries and regions to share experiences, insights, practical advice, and resources," adding, "I hope the opportunities provided by EY will become a foothold for securing new growth engines and accelerating entry into the global market."
