Hana Bank announced on the 30th that it has launched the 'Military Officer Jeonse Loan', which allows military officers to apply for a loan non-face-to-face to support their stable housing.
The 'Military Officer Jeonse Loan' is a mobile-exclusive jeonse fund loan product that supports rental deposits up to 360 million won for military officers who have received a 'Jeonse Loan Recommendation Letter' from the Ministry of National Defense.
Applications can be made through Hana Bank's mobile banking app, 'Hana OneQ'. All processes, including loan applications, document submissions, loan contracts, and post-execution document submission, can be conducted non-face-to-face.
A representative from Hana Bank's Retail Product Department noted, “The Military Officer Jeonse Loan is a product designed to provide convenience for loan applications and contracts for military officers affiliated with the Ministry of National Defense, who find it difficult to visit branch offices due to emergency training schedules and remote living.” They added, “We will continue to provide practical financial support with various benefits to ensure the stability of housing for soldiers who dedicate themselves to the Republic of Korea.”
Based on a business agreement with the Military Personnel Association in 2023, Hana Bank also launched the 'Military Personnel Association Retirement Benefit Savings Loan' in September 2024 to promote the stability and welfare of military personnel and civil servants.
