According to Hana Financial on the 27th, Chairwoman Ham visited business sites for small merchants in the local community that were affected by a fire on the 26th, the day after her term confirmation. She listened to the difficulties of the small merchants and offered comfort. She also helped with the preparation of support for heating and cooling units that could not be replaced after the fire damage, as well as painting the handrails of stairs. Chairwoman Ham said, “I will continue to practice cooperative finance as a partner in helping the growth of small merchants, which are the backbone of the livelihood economy and the center of the local community.”
Hana Financial announced that it would assist 3,500 business sites for small merchants this year through a support project worth 10 billion won. Specifically, this includes ▲ replacing old air conditioners and refrigerators with high-efficiency units (1,000 business sites) ▲ improving the environment of business sites such as sign changes and interior renovations (2,000 business sites) ▲ supporting digital devices such as kiosks and artificial intelligence (AI) closed-circuit television (CCTV) (500 business sites). Small merchants can apply for the necessary support projects through the bank's application or website.
Hana Bank has a policy to select support targets after review, considering business feasibility, sustainability, validity, and effectiveness.
