Mirae Asset Group said it will donate 500 million won for the rapid recovery of areas affected by wildfires and support for disaster victims on the 26th.
The donation will be used for recovery efforts in wildfire-affected areas, emergency supplies, relief for disaster victims, and damage restoration. The funds will be distributed through the National Disaster Relief Association.
Mirae Asset Securities, Mirae Asset Global Investments, and Mirae Asset Life Insurance, among other affiliates of Mirae Asset Group, participated in this donation.
Mirae Asset Life Insurance will provide financial support, including a grace period for premium payments (up to 6 months), a grace period for principal and interest payments on collateral loans (up to 6 months), and same-day insurance payout processing.
A Mirae Asset Group official noted, “We would like to extend our deepest sympathies to those who have been affected by the sudden wildfires and wish for the safety of all those engaged in relief efforts.” The official added, “We will continue to actively practice our core value of warm capitalism and fulfill our social responsibilities.”
