The Korea Exchange, Korea Securities Depository, Korea Securities Finance Corporation, Korea Securities Computer Co., Ltd., and Korea Financial Investment Association announced on the 26th that they provided emergency donations of 500 million won to support disaster victims and recovery efforts in regions severely affected by wildfires in South Gyeongsang and North Gyeongsang.

The donation is expected to be used for relief efforts for wildfire victims and recovery support in areas declared special disaster zones, including Sancheong in South Gyeongsang and Uiseong in North Gyeongsang.

The securities-related organizations expressed in a joint statement, "We extend our deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathy to the residents suffering from the wildfires in South Gyeongsang and North Gyeongsang, and we hope this donation can provide some help." They added, "We will continue to monitor the disaster situation and carry out support activities to assist the affected residents."
