The Korea Exchange noted on the 24th that Chairman Jeong Eun-bo will attend the 39th annual general meeting of the Asia-Oceania Stock Exchanges Federation (AOSEF) to be held in Taiwan.

AOSEF was established in 1982 to expand cooperation and information exchange among stock exchanges in the Asia region. A total of 17 stock exchanges from 13 countries, including Korea, Japan, and China, are members. During this meeting, representatives of member exchanges will share recent trends, including increased market volatility due to global trade disputes, and discuss the role of capital markets in fostering the next-generation industries.

Chairman Jeong also plans to meet with Chairman Guihua Zhou of the Beijing Stock Exchange on the 27th to discuss ways to revitalize the high-tech stock market and enhance the value of listed companies, strengthening the cooperative relationship with the Chinese capital market.
