The Korea Exchange held the 16th Financial Investment Marathon.

The event, held on the 22nd at the Culture Square in Yeouido Park, Seoul, attracted more than 7,000 participants from the financial investment industry and their families under the theme '2024 united financial investment, capital market value up.'

This year's event featured various family cultural activities, including the main event, a marathon (5 and 10 km), as well as corporate competitions among member corporations and the Air Bounce Challenge.

A total of 183 million won was raised from participation fees and sponsorships, and the Korea Exchange donated the amount to social welfare facilities in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, and Busan via the Korea Community Chest.

Eunbo Jeong, chairman of the Korea Exchange, noted, 'Let us gather the wisdom and passion of financial investors amid the domestic and international competitive environment,' adding, 'The Korea Exchange will also work to solidify its foundation so that the capital market can soar higher.'
