As of 10:55 a.m. on that day, the KOSPI index recorded a gain of 10.86 points (0.41%) to 2,639.48 compared to the previous transaction day. The KOSPI index, which opened 0.78% higher the day before, is gradually reducing its gains.

In the securities market, foreigners and institutions are buying 96 billion won and 19.2 billion won, respectively, while individuals are selling 143.2 billion won.

The top 10 stocks by market capitalization in the securities market are showing mixed trends. Samsung Electronics, ranked first in market capitalization, is leading the index increase with a gain of 1.71%.

SK hynix and LG Energy Solution are also rising by 0.73% and 0.3%, respectively. On the other hand, Hanwha Aerospace (-2.78%), Kia (-1.13%), and Hyundai Motor (-0.25%) are experiencing declines.

The KOSDAQ index is down 3.02 points (0.41%) from the previous day, recording 735.33. After starting 0.68% higher, the KOSDAQ index turned lower around 10 a.m. In the KOSDAQ market, foreigners and institutions are net selling 38.3 billion won and 57.9 billion won, while net buying 112.7 billion won.

The top 10 stocks by market capitalization in the KOSDAQ are showing a downward trend. Kolon TissueGene is plummeting over 11%, while Alteogen and Sam Chun Dang Pharm are down 3.82% and 2.94%, respectively. Ecopro BM is rising by 0.36%, while CLASSYS (2.44%) and HUGEL (1.82%) are showing strength.

At the same time, the exchange rate of the won against the U.S. dollar is trading at 1,459.8 won, down 3.2 won from the previous transaction day.
