The Korea SOHO Bank (KSB) consortium announced on the 20th that Busan Bank and OK Savings Bank have joined the consortium.
Among financial institutions, Woori Bank, NH Nonghyup Bank, Woori Card, and Eugene Investment & Securities are participating in the SOHO Bank consortium. ITCEN and Megazone Cloud are also participating corporations. Additionally, it is reported that Hana Bank is considering joining the SOHO Bank consortium.
The financial authorities plan to accept applications for preliminary licenses for internet banks on the 25th and 26th.
