Alchera, a professional company in artificial intelligence (AI) video recognition, has emerged from the watch list for investment caution after a year, reaching the upper limit price (maximum price limit) in after-hours transaction.

Alchera's stock was traded at 1,600 won in after-hours transaction following the close of the regular market at 4:50 p.m. on the 18th. This is 9.97% (145 won) higher than the closing price (1,455 won). The upper limit for after-hours transaction is 10% compared to the closing price.

Alchera was designated as a watch list for investment caution last March due to receiving a 'limited' audit opinion. Subsequently, the reason for being designated as a watch list for investment caution was furthered as the capital impairment rate exceeded 50% during the first half of the year.

The Korea Exchange designates corporations showing signs of financial instability as watch lists for investment caution. Investors perceive this as a warning that if management conditions do not improve, the company may be designated as a management item or face delisting. Alchera's stock price has declined from the 5,000 won range to the 1,000 won range this month since being placed on the watch list for investment caution.

However, it was revealed through the audit report submitted by Alchera that the company received an 'appropriate' audit opinion and resolved the uncertainty concerning the continuation of the business. The exchange lifted the designation as a watch list for investment caution.

Alchera recorded a consolidated revenue of 17.3 billion won and an operating loss of 10.4 billion won last year. Revenue increased by nearly 50% compared to 2023, and the scale of the deficit decreased by 8.1 billion won.
