Satrec Initiative recently set a new high in the past year. It appears that investors are flocking ahead of the ultra-high-resolution satellite launch.
Satrec Initiative's stock traded at 58,700 won on the Korea Securities Dealers Automated Quotations (KOSDAQ) market at 9:09 a.m. on the 10th. The stock price increased by 6.15% (3,400 won) compared to the previous trading day. During early trading, the stock price surged to 60,500 won, marking the highest price in the past year.
Satrec Initiative plans to launch the ultra-high-resolution satellite "SpaceEye-T" this month from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California aboard SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket.
"SpaceEye-T" is the first medium-sized satellite for earth observation independently developed by Satrec Initiative, which has a resolution of 25 cm, the highest level among domestic commercial satellites.
