IBK Securities said it will hold an event titled "The Start of Investment, Adding ESG Value" on the 10th. This event involves random distributions of domestic ESG excellent corporation stocks (500 participants) or 5,000 won in Naver Pay points (3,300 participants) to the first 3,800 investors who open a non-face-to-face securities account with i-ONE Bank.
Domestic ESG excellent corporations are those selected as the "ESG Best Companies 100" for the second half of last year by the ESG specialized agency SustainBest. The 100 companies include NAVER, KT, Hyundai Home Shopping, Yuhan Corporation, and POSCO Holdings.
IBK Securities will also gift a three-month subscription to TVING and an ESG travel box for sustainable environments to 100 randomly selected customers among the event participants. To receive the prizes, applicants must submit their entries on the i-ONE Bank event page or the stock trading service after opening an account. The event period is until April 30.
An IBK Securities official noted, "This event conveys the meaning of participating in ESG through opening a securities account, and we prepared gifts of ESG excellent corporation stocks and ESG travel boxes," adding, "We will continue to prepare various events to become a corporation that practices sustainable ESG management in the future."
