On the 10th, the KB Kookmin Bank Outside Director Candidate Recommendation Committee announced that it recommended one new outside director and two reappointed outside directors as candidates.
The new outside director is Professor Yoon Dae-hee from Yonsei University's School of Business. Professor Yoon is an accounting expert who holds a CPA license and a Ph.D. in business administration from Yale University. He has served as an outside director at Korea Investment Holdings and Korea Investment & Securities, a consultant for the Financial Supervisory Service, and a member of the Korean Exchange's review committee. Professor Yoon's term as an outside director is two years.
The committee recommended the one-year reappointment of current outside directors Seo Tae-jong and Moon Soo-bok. The candidates recommended through the committee will be formally appointed as outside directors of KB Kookmin Bank following a vote at the regular shareholders' meeting scheduled for the 25th.
