DB Financial Investment has decided to change its name to DB Securities.

DB Financial Investment announced on the 10th that it made this decision to enhance customer awareness. DB Financial Investment submitted a proposal for amendments to its articles of incorporation as an agenda item for the regular shareholder meeting. The name change will be confirmed after the regular shareholder meeting on the 25th.

DB Financial Investment disclosed that it recorded a consolidated revenue of 1.3185 trillion won and a net income of 52.9 billion won last year. Compared to 2023, revenue increased by 9.2%, and net income rose by 322.6%.

Based on its strong performance, DB Financial Investment decided on a cash dividend of 400 won per common share. The dividend record date is set for March 31, and considering the payment lag, shareholders who hold DB Financial Investment stock until the 27th will receive the shares.

DB Financial Investment plans to buy back 2.9 billion won worth of its own shares as part of its corporate value enhancement plan. The buyback will take place from the 11th to June 10.

A representative from DB Financial Investment said, "This year we will faithfully implement plans to enhance corporate value that are friendly to shareholders and investors," and noted, "Using the new name as a stepping stone, we will focus on expanding our customer base, improving profitability, and generating growth engines through the PIB business model."
