The Industrial Bank of Korea announced on the 9th that it signed a business agreement with Commerzbank in Frankfurt, Germany, on the 6th (local time) to support small and medium-sized enterprises.
Under the agreement, the two banks are expected to collaborate in areas such as sharing investment banking (IB) business opportunities, financing and trade finance, joint investment in nurturing startups, and providing local financial support for companies entering each other's countries.
Kim Seong-tae, president of the Industrial Bank of Korea, noted, "This cooperation will serve as a strong foundation for South Korean and German corporations to grow in the global market."
