Hana Bank announced on the 5th that starting from the 10th, it will reduce the additional charge for its face-to-face dwelling mortgage product (mixed type) by 0.15 percentage points.
A representative from Hana Bank noted, "This measure is to proactively reflect the effects of the base rate cut and support the reduction of financial expenses."
As requested by financial authorities to reflect the base rate cut in loan interest rates, commercial banks are lowering household loan rates. NH Nonghyup Bank plans to reduce its household loan rates by up to 0.40 percentage points starting from the 6th, while Woori Bank lowered the additional charge on its dwelling mortgage product with a 5-year variable rate by 0.25 percentage points on the 28th of last month.
Woori Bank lowered the interest rate on its representative personal credit loan product, "Woori WON Switching Employee Loan," by 0.20 percentage points starting today. Shinhan Bank is also considering a reduction in household loan additional charges this week.
