Soosung Webtoon's subsidiary Future High Tech announced on the 27th that it secured additional orders for high-bandwidth memory (HBM3e) testing equipment worth 5.38 billion won. With this, Future High Tech's cumulative order backlog for the year reached 14.48 billion won.
This additional order was made as the demand for HBM rapidly surged alongside the rapid growth of the artificial intelligence (AI) semiconductor market. The company noted that Future High Tech's HBM3e testing equipment has been recognized for its high competitiveness in the market.
Future High Tech has successfully developed HBM testing equipment based on over 20 years of technical expertise in the semiconductor testing equipment field, and the company explains that it continues to achieve sustainable growth through collaborations with major domestic semiconductor corporations. The HBM3e equipment is regarded as a core device in the high-performance computing (HPC) and AI semiconductor markets.

Future High Tech plans to leverage this order as a stepping stone to accelerate the development and production of products related to HBM testing equipment.
