The stock price of CLIO Cosmetics is weak.

As of 9:29 a.m. on the 24th, CLIO Cosmetics is trading at 18,200 won, down 7.14% from the previous trading day.

This stock price trend is interpreted as being due to performance that falls short of market expectations.

In the fourth quarter of last year, CLIO Cosmetics reported a consolidated revenue of 78.3 billion won, a 13% decrease compared to the same period last year.

Operating profit fell to 10 million won, a 99% decline compared to the same period, marking the first decrease in size since 2020. It is interpreted that profitability deteriorated as the cost of sales and advertising expenses increased.

However, analysts predict that CLIO Cosmetics will report decent performance in the second half of this year as it expands its overseas presence.

Jung Ji-yoon, a researcher at NH Investment & Securities, noted, "We anticipate a performance trend of CLIO Cosmetics characterized by a high start and lower growth," and predicted that they will expand into countries such as Vietnam, the Middle East, and the Netherlands.
