Kiwoom Securities said it will recruit the first class of the 'Kiwoom Digital Academy' on the 20th.
The Kiwoom Digital Academy is a program aimed at training financial data analysis experts. It will be conducted for three months from April to July this year at Understand Avenue in Seongdong, Seoul, targeting job seekers. The application period is until the 21st of next month. Those who possess or can obtain the National Tomorrow Learning Card can apply, and the tuition fee will be fully covered by the government.
The educational content consists of regular courses and projects. The regular courses include ▲ Python programming (enhancing data analysis and utilization skills) ▲ Understanding and utilizing SQL (enhancing database management and analysis skills) ▲ Financial data analysis using Python (enhancing financial market analysis and prediction skills) ▲ Building data-based services (enhancing user-centered service development skills). Afterward, practical skills will be developed through a digital financial service development project.
Kiwoom Securities will provide a scholarship of 1 million won and exemptions from document screening when applying for jobs at Kiwoom Securities to the best trainees.
Kiwoom Securities established the Kiwoom Digital Academy after being selected as a leading company for 'K-Digital Training.' K-Digital Training is a public-private partnership talent development program organized by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and supported by the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry for job seekers in advanced industries and digital fields. Leading companies design and operate the training curriculum themselves to cultivate talents with practical skills. The Korea Institute for Data and Information Society (KIDIS) is participating as a partner organization to support the operation of the training program.
