On the morning of the 17th, there was a temporary access error in KB Kookmin Bank's mobile banking application, 'KB Star Banking,' causing inconvenience for financial consumers.
According to Kookmin Bank, from around 10 a.m. to approximately 11 a.m. that day, there were delays or interruptions in accessing the internet and mobile banking sites and apps for about an hour.
A similar app access issue occurred at Kookmin Bank in September of last year. At that time, Kookmin Bank refunded fees to customers who made transfers through branch counters or automated machines due to the error.
A Kookmin Bank official noted, "Login transactions were temporarily delayed due to an unexpected increase in transaction volume," and added, "We will do our best to establish measures to prevent recurrence and provide stable services in the future."
