Kiwoom Securities noted on the 11th that its real-world investment competition 'Kiwoom Hero War' has received a patent. The key to this patent is the revenue formula developed by Kiwoom Securities.
Unlike the previous revenue calculation method that calculated based on the entire amount held as well as the stocks for which the revenue is calculated, Kiwoom Securities is only summing the minimum amount needed for holding and transaction as the invested principal.
Kiwoom Securities explained that this revenue calculation method helps to accurately measure participants' performance in real-world investment competitions like Kiwoom Hero War.
Since March 2023, Kiwoom Securities has been holding regular rounds of the Kiwoom Hero War every month. Currently, 270,000 participants are involved in domestic competitions and 150,000 in international competitions. The top 200 in domestic competitions and the top 100 in international competitions by asset size will qualify for the final 'Hero Deciding Match.'
The revenue of Kiwoom Hero War winners is soaring. The highest revenue in history was 7094.7% from the 1 million won competition in August 2023. Last February, the highest revenue in a 1 million won competition also exceeded 1000%.
The increase in the highest revenue and revenue growth for international competition winners is even more pronounced. In December last year, the highest revenue of 1108.33% was recorded in the 10 million won competition, and in the same year, a winner in the 100 million won competition in November earned a revenue of 2.72 billion won.
Currently, the regular round for February is underway in the Kiwoom Hero War. When participating in the Kiwoom Hero War, participants can check real-time (every three minutes) queries of stocks ranked by top revenue performers, as well as stocks with the highest buying and selling on that day. Kiwoom Securities said, "It seems that the participation of skilled investors in the competition is increasing," adding that "it will continue to provide content that helps with investment in the future."
