Cryptocurrency prices are mostly falling due to the impact of the tariff war originating from the United States. At one point, Ripple dropped by more than 4%, surrendering its position as the third-largest by market capitalization.

As of 8 a.m. on the 6th, Bitcoin is trading at $97,493, down 1.20% from 24 hours ago, according to CoinMarketCap, a global coin market tracking site. Ripple is trading at $2.39, a decline of 5.64%. Earlier that morning, around 5 a.m., Ripple's price plummeted by 8%, causing it to lose its position as the third-largest market cap to Tether.

Ethereum, the second-largest by market capitalization, is trading at $2,780, up 1.82%. Additionally, Solana, the fifth-largest, is down 3.47%, and Dogecoin, the eighth-largest, has decreased by 1.24%.
