GigaVis's stock experienced early gains on the 4th. The buying interest is attributed to the news that the company signed an export contract worth 15.4 billion won with a Japanese semiconductor substrate manufacturer.
As of 9:12 a.m. on this day, GigaVis is trading at 29,050 won, up 1,200 won (4.31%) from the previous trading day.
After the market closed the previous day, GigaVis announced that it had entered into a sales and supply contract for semiconductor substrate inspection and repair equipment with a Japanese semiconductor corporation. The contract amount is 15.37558 billion won, which accounts for about 17% of this year's sales (91.4 billion won). Following the contract announcement, GigaVis rose 7.72% in after-hours transactions.
The contract period is from the 29th of last month to November 27th of this year. The contract price includes 30% as a down payment, 50% as a progress payment, and the remaining 20% will be received after the client completes the inspection.
A GigaVis representative noted, "Due to the need to maintain operational confidentiality, the main details of the contract are not disclosed," and added, "The contract amount and duration may change during the process."
