On the first day of their KOSDAQ listing on the 24th, global adult education content corporations Day 1 Company and artificial intelligence (AI) agent specialist WISEnut are experiencing early losses.
As of 9:10 a.m. that day, Day 1 Company is trading at 9,660 won, down 3,340 won (25.69%) from the initial offering price of 13,000 won. WISEnut is also trading at 14,090 won, down 2,910 won (17.12%) from its initial offering price of 17,000 won at the same time.
Earlier, Day 1 Company conducted demand forecasting for domestic and foreign institutional investors from the 6th to the 10th of this month. A total of 510 institutions participated, achieving a subscription competition rate of 115 to 1, which finalized the initial offering price at 13,000 won.
Subsequently, between the 15th and 16th, the company conducted a public offering for general investors. It recorded a competition rate of 133.46 to 1, attracting approximately 295.2 billion won in subscription deposits. Day 1 Company plans to focus its funds from the listing on global market expansion.
In the case of WISEnut, the company finalized its initial offering price at 17,000 won after conducting demand forecasting from the 3rd to the 9th for domestic and foreign institutional investors. Additionally, it achieved a competition rate of 10.2 to 1 during the public offering conducted over two days starting on the 15th. The subscription deposits totaled 19.5 billion won.
WISEnut plans to use the funds secured from the public offering for research and development of new products and to ensure supply chain stability.
