Koh Young Technology has been surging for two consecutive days. This is attributed to the influx of investors following the news that the company obtained approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for its neurosurgery medical robot.
According to the Korea Exchange on the 21st, as of 9:34 a.m., Koh Young Technology was trading at 14,510 won, up 18.742% (2,290 won) from the previous trading day. The day before, it recorded the upper limit (the maximum daily rise).
The day before, Koh Young Technology announced that it had obtained approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for its neurosurgery medical robot (Geniant Cranial) on the 17th. The company noted, "This approval allows for the sale of the neurosurgery medical robot (Geniant Cranial) in the United States."
Founded in 2002, Koh Young Technology produces three-dimensional precision measurement inspection equipment for electronics and semiconductor production. It entered the KOSDAQ market in 2008.
