Doosan Enerbility's Czech subsidiary Doosan Skoda Power is pushing for listing on the Prague Stock Exchange, while the stock price of the Doosan Group is on the rise on the morning of the 16th.
The stock price of Doosan, the holding company of the Doosan Group, was 285,500 won at 10:11 a.m. on that day, up 4.2% (11,500 won) from the previous day. At the same time, the stock prices of Doosan Enerbility, Doosan Robotics, and Doosan Bobcat are also showing strength.
Doosan Skoda Power held an intentions announcement (ITF) for listing with local media and the related industry in Prague, Czech Republic, the previous day. It plans to announce specific plans for the offering price and schedule on the 27th. This will be the first listing of a private power generation equipment manufacturer on the Czech stock market.
Doosan Skoda Power is a supplier of more than 540 steam turbines, including those for nuclear power plants, in Europe, including the Czech Republic. It is expected to act as a foothold for new nuclear power plant construction projects in the European region.
Doosan Enerbility plans to transfer generator technology to Doosan Skoda Power. Once the transfer is completed, Doosan Skoda Power will be able to produce generators for power plants, such as small modular reactors (SMR) and combined heat and power, starting in 2029.
