The fortune application (app) "Geomshin" operator Techlabs is collaborating with Saltlux to co-develop fortune video content.

Techlabs noted on the 14th that it has signed a strategic memorandum of understanding (MOU) with artificial intelligence (AI) solution company Saltlux to develop customized fortune content. Saltlux's subsidiary, Plunit, also participated in this MOU.

Techlabs plans to combine the "Geomshin" data with the AI-based video generation technology from Saltlux and Plunit to produce New Year’s fortune and monthly zodiac fortune video content. The content will be supplied to the senior channel of SK Broadband's "Btv."

Yoo Ji-heon, the representative of Techlabs, said, "We will advance the fortune market and establish 'fortune' as a lifestyle keyword that all generations can empathize with," adding, "We plan to create new customer touchpoints through collaboration with various corporations in the future."

Meanwhile, Techlabs is strengthening collaborations with corporations in various fields. Previously, it partnered with Shinsegae Group's Emart24 to launch a lunchbox containing a talisman card and also introduced a KODI service that brings good luck in collaboration with the e-commerce company OOD Concept.
