Hana Financial explained that G-Dragon's distinctive creative sense and unique music align with the group's direction, which has been creating new value in finance, making him a suitable model.
G-Dragon showcases his unique personality not only in music but also in the realms of fashion and art. Recently returning after seven years, G-Dragon has topped various music charts and recorded 100,000 'likes' in the shortest time on music sites, while accumulating a total of 88 million views on year-end stages, demonstrating his enduring popularity.
G-Dragon shared a finger pose symbolizing 'one' on his personal social media account at 11:11 p.m. on January 11, emphasizing the meaning of 'Hana.' At the same time, an image reminiscent of G-Dragon was also shared on the social media account of Hana Bank, a key subsidiary of Hana Financial.
G-Dragon, now the new model for Hana Financial, noted, "I consider this partnership with Hana Financial, which has always pursued interesting marketing, to be especially meaningful and unique," adding, "I am very much looking forward to trying new initiatives in the advertising and marketing areas that have never been attempted before."
After establishing a model lineup that includes Son Heung-min, Lim Young-woong, Ahn Yu-jin, and Kang Ho-dong, Hana Financial is set to carry out optimized branding activities by developing messages tailored to the symbolism of each model and the demand of customers.
A Hana Financial official stated, "Following Son Heung-min's healthy leadership, Lim Young-woong's warm consideration, Ahn Yu-jin's young and bright energy, and Kang Ho-dong's strong partnership, G-Dragon's trendy and creative character has been added," adding, "We will provide new and creative brand content."
