Kakao Bank extends ATM fee waiver for customers throughout 2025

Kakao Bank announced on the 2nd that it will extend its automatic teller machine (ATM) fee exemption policy for another year.

Kakao Bank customers will be able to use transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, and transfers at all ATMs nationwide, including banks and convenience stores, without fees throughout 2025.

Since its launch in July 2017, Kakao Bank has continued its ATM fee exemption policy. Kakao Bank noted, “The amount returned to customers through the ATM fee exemption policy has accumulated to 374.1 billion won as of the end of last November,” and “We will continue to strive to practice inclusive finance going forward.”

Kakao Bank is offering not only ATM fee exemptions but also mid-term repayment penalty waivers, acceptance of interest rate reduction requests, and cashback benefits on debit cards.
