Anyone can invest in over-the-counter bonds through a Shinhan Investment Corp. account opened in the Kakao Bank application (app), and customers without an account can also proceed to open one in the Kakao Bank app before making an investment.

Through this collaboration, investing in bonds has become convenient in the Kakao Bank app. Transactions can start from a minimum amount of 10,000 won, allowing customers who are unfamiliar with bonds to experience investing in small amounts, according to the company. However, this may vary depending on the purchase price of each bond.

Jeon Hyeong-sook, head of the platform group at Shinhan Investment Corp., noted, “Through this collaboration, Kakao Bank customers can easily and conveniently experience over-the-counter bond investments” and added, “We will continue to expand various services for customers in the future.”

This service is available via the path: Kakao Bank app → securities financial product investment → our sales over-the-counter bonds → product information page → purchase → Shinhan Investment Corp. web view.
