The Korea Exchange announced on the 18th that it hosted a conference for public relations officers of KOSDAQ-listed corporations aimed at enhancing corporate value.
KOSDAQ-listed corporations tend to be smaller in scale and have fewer public relations resources, resulting in relatively less participation in the corporate value enhancement program. To actively support public engagement, the exchange organized this conference. As of the 17th of this month, a total of 97 corporations (80 public announcements and 17 preliminary disclosures) are participating in the value enhancement program.
Approximately 190 participants, including public relations officers from KOSDAQ corporations, attended the conference. During the event, the exchange presented examples of public disclosures from KOSDAQ corporations, and Samjong KPMG, a consulting firm focused on small and medium-sized listed corporations, introduced value enhancement consulting cases.
A representative from the exchange noted, "In the future, the exchange plans to continuously support the value enhancement of listed corporations through various educational programs that reflect the needs of corporations."
