IL Science said that its subsidiary IL Cellion registered a patent for dynamic projection automotive lamp technology through a national research and development project on the 13th.
The technology is part of the national research and development support project titled 'Development of Communication Projector Applying Imaging Lens Based on Semiconductor Manufacturing Processes,' focusing on small and medium enterprises (SME) commercialization technology development. IL Cellion is directly involved in the development.
Dynamic projection automotive lamp technology can output dynamic images. It has converted existing single-channel micro lens array (MLA) projection logo lamps into various channels and driver operating methods.
An IL Cellion representative noted, 'With the patented technology, we can provide various logo patterns based on the number of MLA lenses, and dynamic video production is also possible through software control.' They also mentioned, 'In the future, we will integrate IL Science's silicone lens innovation technology to complete the mobility value chain and create synergies.'
