Broadcaster Ji Yeonsoo donated all of the first revenue from the YouTube channel she runs.
On the 14th, Ji Yeonsoo said on her personal social media, "First, I would like to thank everyone who watches and supports Yeonsurobda YouTube," and added, "After the channel opened, I received the first settlement of revenue, and together with the production staff who work with me, we decided to donate the entire amount."
She added, "Of course, it is true that I live tightly and without much leisure. It is not that I did not know about money," and said, "But I simply wanted to stop the tears, even for a moment, of even one mother and child who suddenly found themselves in a desperate situation, so I ask you to view this with a warm heart."
According to the disclosed donation certificate, Ji Yeonsoo donated 5 million won on Aug. 25 in the channel's name to a single-parent women's recovery support project.
Meanwhile, Ji Yeonsoo married Eli, a former member of the group U-KISS, in 2014 and has a son born in 2016.
However, the two divorced in 2020, and custody and parental rights are held by Ji Yeonsoo. Currently, Ji Yeonsoo is making a living by working part-time at a beef soup restaurant.<
