Boy group IDID from Starship Entertainment delivered big laughs to fans with an intense psychological battle during an outrageous mission that offered a 1,000,000 won prize.
IDID (Jang Yonghun, Kim Minjae, Park Wonbin, Chu Yuchan, Park Sunghyun, Baek Junhyuk, Jeong Semin) recently released the episode "prize money random game" of their self-produced content "NALDID" on their official YouTube channel.
In this game, each person could earn the 1,000,000 won prize if they completed their individual mission within 45 minutes. Because they had to avoid having their mission discovered and also had to interfere with other members' missions, a tense battle of wits unfolded among the members from the start.
The missions given to the members were also unusual. Jang Yonghun attempted "change pants without being noticed by the members," Kim Minjae attempted "protect a single blueberry," Park Wonbin attempted "take photos of each member's body part," Chu Yuchan attempted "stack board game chairs 20 floors high," Park Sunghyun attempted "make a star-shaped dalgona," Baek Junhyuk attempted "dot the members' bodies," and Jeong Semin attempted "carry three members for 10 seconds."
With each person having to hide their mission and endure 45 minutes, members constantly suspected one another. Especially those who received missions that were easy to be discovered formed alliances and carried out intense strategies to survive, but they repeatedly found themselves exposed by Kim Minjae's keen observation, producing embarrassed yet amusing scenes.
Jeong Semin threw his entire body into succeeding at the "carry three members for 10 seconds" mission but was devastated when production judged it "invalid." Nevertheless, he did not give up easily and clung to the mission until the end, showing fierce spirit and competitiveness and once again bringing laughter.
Above all, Jang Yonghun and Kim Minjae stood out in the "prize money random game." Jang Yonghun, who majored in psychology, executed a meticulous psychological strategy by hiding the real mission behind fake missions and perfectly confusing the members. Kim Minjae, who drew suspicion from all members from the start, instead deciphered and disrupted others' missions one by one while quietly carrying out his own mission, acting as an all-around player.
Kim Minjae's acumen shone until the end. He won the rock-paper-scissors that awarded the 1,000,000 won prize and claimed the final victory. Demonstrating exceptional observation and judgment throughout the game, Kim Minjae earned the recognition of the members and became the owner of the prize money.
Kim Minjae, who dominated the "prize money random game" with overwhelming acumen and deductive power, said, "I can't believe the 1,000,000 won came into my hands, but is money that important? I'll secretly put (the prize) into the kids' bags. Anyway, it's good to have won~," adding a heartwarming touch. Afterwards, when Jeong Semin verified the actual prize distribution on Berriz, the members' exceptional friendship once again drew laughter.
Fans who watched the broadcast poured out enthusiastic reactions to IDID's pleasant chemistry, saying, "This "NALDID" is the most fun yet!", "Detective Min, let's go on 'Crime Scene.' You're really good," "Kim Minjae sharing the prize money, no wonder they call him Min-boss Min-boss," and "If you only waited for 'NALDID,' will you believe it?"
Meanwhile, IDID recently solidified their presence as next-generation rookies by winning the "Next Generation Award" at the 2026 SPOTV K-POP AWARDS. They will take the stage on the SBS "Inkigayo Live in Tokyo" event held at Belluna Dome in Saitama Prefecture, Japan, on the 22nd, and in December they will meet global fans through the "Asia Artist Awards" (AAA 2026) held at the Kaohsiung National Stadium in Taiwan.
